So, as you all no doubt have heard, a new movie has come out, under quite a few people's radars. It's called District 9 and was directed by some nobody, but produced by Peter Jackson. Some may have heard it's the best movie of the decade, other may have heard it's complete shit. Well, I'll give you my humble opinikon on it.

Epic.

Ok, maybe it wasn't very humble, but it is an epic movie. It goes beyond your typical summer movie. Sure there's action, but there is also two other things that are vital for a good movie. Plot and brains. This movie HAS a worhtwhile story. This movie HAS a functioning brain. Do you need either of these to enjoy it? No, but they help.

I probably would have posted a journal on this earlier, as it's just so epic, but it was just so epic that I've been busy watching it. Getting ready for a possible third seeing tonight.
